WebParts (Free design of displayed information)

Web Parts enable the developers in the category of user interfaces within SharePoint, to provide the possibility any information can be displayed in a form view.

On "Web Part Page Templates" you can predefine Web Parts that will be displayed and, users can manage, with appropriate rights, and modify them without any administration, development or design knowledge.

Web Parts are the primary means of displaying information in SharePoint sites and, can strongly affect the user experience. The administrator is responsible to see where and how Web Parts, usually contributored by customers, are controlled. The build and design of Web Parts is carried out by developers. With Silverlight and AJAX extensions, SharePoint has similar look and feel of more of a Windows Application then as an intranet portal. These new technologies enable content and modern graphic interface components to use the internet and have less to do with rich client applications.
